About Bachata Heels
Bachata Heels was established in 2025 by founder and creative director Jihaan Cloete. This unique fusion dance experience blends the sensual flow of Bachata Ladies Styling with the bold, confident energy of Heels Dance.
Bachata Heels combines chairwork, floorwork, classic burlesque elements, Bachata sensual technique, and powerful heels choreography to create a class designed to awaken confidence, elegance, and feminine strength.
With over five years of dance experience, Jihaan Cloete has trained and performed professionally across South Africa and Europe. Her background includes Bachata, Salsa, Jazz, Tango, Waltz, and Brazilian Zouk. Alongside her Partner, Gershwin Scheepers, together they founded Cielo Dance Academy, where they teach Salsa, Bachata, Waltz, Sokkie, and Brazilian Zouk.
Bachata Heels is more than a dance class — it is a community. Based in Cape Town, we host monthly social events designed to empower women, encourage connection, and create a safe space where confidence finds you.
